Purpose of the Association

​

• Promote allegiance to the clan chief of Hunterston.

• Promote Scottish Culture.

• Support preservation of our family seat, Hunterston Castle.

• Encourage preservation of our proud Hunter heritage.

• Encourage genealogy research and preservation.

Membership Application

Fill out a membership form online by going to our Online Membership Application and submit $40 via Stripe.  If you would like to mail in your application, please print out the online Membership Application and submit your dues via check for $40 to Brad Hunter, Treasurer, 2301 Macy Dr., Roswell, GA 30076. Initial fees also include your dues for the calendar year you join.​ After that annual membership dues of $25 apply.

Membership is open to those with the surname of Hunter, Hunt, Huntar, Huntress, and Hunta,

descendants of someone with one of those surnames, and anyone in agreement with the purpose of the association.

New Members will receive a membership pack which includes a certificate signed by Madam Pauline Hunter of Hunterston.  If married, membership for your spouse is available at no additional cost.

 

Clan Hunter Association, USA is classified as a public charity and is tax exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue code. Therefore, application fees, annual dues and special contributions are tax deductible. One half of all application fees and annual dues are sent to Scotland to help maintain Hunterston Castle.
